Can I Get Some Extra Tartar Sauce?

When I was a kid, my grand parents would take my brothers and me to Luby’s.  That was my introduction to fried okra. It was like seeing a rainbow for the first time.

     “Have you tried this?  It’s amazing.”

     “Yeah.  It’s fried okra.  It’s been around for millennia.”

     “How come no one told me about this?”

     “Because you’re eight.  There’s lots of stuff we’re hiding from you.”

It really is the best thing ever created by mankind.
